As opposed to leather motorcycle jackets that are often made of rugged cowhide, a leather bomber jacket is usually made of lambskin, a thinner, softer leather. Colors
Brown or tan leather is most often used to make bomber jackets. Occasionally, you'll find them in black or reddish brown but bright colors such as blue or yellow are not uncommon.
